FOREST HOUSE was the easily most exciting new art car of Burning Man 2015. And for the 2016 Burn Chief Design Officer Chris Bouton has plans to make Forest House one of the first major art cars in the world to run on renewable solar and wind energy. The Forest House team enlisted Gauge Theory Creative to create a Kickstarter video to help launch their fundraising campaign for this exciting new project. What if we could capture the methane gas naturally given off by a landfill, purify it and sell it back into the energy grid as clean burning natural gas? Air Liquide, the world’s leading gas company, has already done it in Northeast Mississippi! This is the 10 month time lapse of the construction, meticulously edited to highlight key visual moments in an engaging narrative. The production involved three cameras capturing RAW images every 5 minutes and uploading them via cellular hotspots to a secure website viewable in real time. All powered by solar panels. And all provided by Gauge Theory Creative.
