Every February and August the retail industry convenes in Las Vegas for the United States' most comprehensive fashion marketplace - MAGIC. And for the twelfth consecutive show, Gauge Theory Creative has been tasked with producing all of MAGIC’s video content for the web and social media. This video is a reflection of the overall experience, using text and fast moving imagery to highlight everything that four days at MAGIC Las Vegas can be.
NY NOW - January 2017
NY NOW, produced twice annually, is a trade-only wholesale marketplace for retail buyers seeking design-driven innovation and on-trend style. Featuring products from over 4,500 suppliers spanning hundreds of categories across three comprehensive collections. For January 2017 NY NOW turned to Gauge Theory Creative to improve their video content, bringing it in line with the unparalleled quality of their show. This video captures that unique quality of design and style, as well as the overall experience and global reach of NY NOW.
INDUSTRIE - Winter Sixteen Curation
INDUSTRIE is Australia's largest menswear brand, now a global company with stores in the UK, US, South Africa and New Zealand. For their Winter 2016 Curation, Industrie called on Gauge Theory Creative again to help refashion their video marketing. Working with a new model in studio the goal was to create something intimate, fresh and stylish, without losing touch with their masculine appeal.
N:OW @ PROJECT - AUGUST 2018
PROJECT GLOBAL TRADESHOW is a world leader in the menswear fashion tradeshow space. They returned to Gauge Theory Creative to produce a video of their highly anticipated new space, N:OW @ PROJECT, highlighting the latest trends in streetwear fashion. A true collaboration between innovative brands, N:OW is an immersive experience with focus on stimulating creativity and fostering a collaborative - and stylish - environment. Our aim was to capture this unique vibe and deeper creativity of the community brought together at N:OW. The response from the PROJECT leadership and sales team has been tremendous.
ALIAL FITAL (Ah-lee-all Fit-ahl) is a mens fashion and golf apparel line created by former NFL quarterback Gibran Hamdan. Like his clothing Gibran’s directives are clear and decisive, and to kick off 2014 his focus was on originality, color, pop and style. We discussed balancing Gibran’s desire for a video that sidestepped commercial expectations and even a clear connection to a clothing brand, but that also achieved some straight-forward goals. The video needed to reflect that season’s inspiration (the bright and colorful world of Palm Desert) and feature two important Alial Fital Ambassadors (PGA Tour veteran Bo Van Pelt, who helped him launch his brand to the golf apparel world, and PGA Tour pro Jim Renner). The solution: extreme close-ups, bold colors, rhythmic motion, and accents of motion graphics.
