Every February and August the retail industry convenes in Las Vegas for the United States' most comprehensive fashion marketplace - MAGIC. And for the tenth consecutive show, Gauge Theory Creative has been tasked with producing all of MAGIC’s video content for the web and social media. This video is a reflection of the overall MAGIC experience, showcasing the very best of its thirteen unique communities, while highlighting the one-of-a-kind experience that has made MAGIC the global destination for all things fashion for over 80 years. From the height of contemporary luxury brands to the latests trends in fast fashion, MAGIC fuels the business of fashion.  


NY NOW - January 2017

NY NOW, produced twice annually, is a trade-only wholesale marketplace for retail buyers seeking design-driven innovation and on-trend style. Featuring products from over 4,500 suppliers spanning hundreds of categories across three comprehensive collections. For January 2017 NY NOW turned to Gauge Theory Creative to improve  their video content, bringing it in line with the unparalleled quality of their show. This video captures that unique quality of design and style, as well as the overall experience and global reach of NY NOW.


 
Industrie Clothing has used Tom Glynn as its international creative visual organiser for the last 5 years. Tom has produced in store and internet video but also produced full shoots, organizing castings, hiring locations and managing entire productions. Tom’s work is planned, creative, fast, effective and resourceful. INDUSTRIE - FEBRUARY 2016

INDUSTRIE (aka GARMENT MAKERS INDUSTRIE within North America) is Australia’s largest menswear brand, now a global company with stores in the UK, US, South Africa and New Zealand. For their Winter 2016 Curation, Industrie called on Gauge Theory Creative again to help refashion their video marketing. Working with a new model and with LA as the backdrop the goal was to create something big, bold and urban to highlight their winter collection of jackets, knitwear and denim.


FOREST HOUSE - NOVEMBER 2015

FOREST HOUSE was the easily most exciting new art car of Burning Man 2015. And for the 2016 Burn Chief Design Officer Chris Bouton has plans to make Forest House one of the first major art cars in the world to run on renewable solar and wind energy. The Forest House team enlisted Gauge Theory Creative to create a Kickstarter video to help launch their fundraising campaign for this exciting new project. PROJECT LAS VEGAS - FEBRUARY 2015

PROJECT GLOBAL TRADESHOW is a world leader in the menswear fashion tradeshow space. They returned to Gauge Theory Creative to produce a video of their most recent Las Vegas show. Our aim was to capture what distinguishes PROJECT from their competitors, namely an elevated experience comprised of a clean, stylish atmosphere, an unparalleled collection of leading mens brands and exceptional customer services. In keeping with this aim we chose to leave out the interviews and commercial sound bites that make-up standard tradeshow videos and focus on creating something with more immediacy and more impact. The response from the PROJECT leadership and sales team has been tremendous.

ALIAL FITAL (Ah-lee-all Fit-ahl) is a mens fashion and golf apparel line created by former NFL quarterback Gibran Hamdan. Like his clothing Gibran’s directives are clear and decisive, and to kick off 2014 his focus was on originality, color, pop and style. We discussed balancing Gibran’s desire for a video that sidestepped commercial expectations and even a clear connection to a clothing brand, but that also achieved some straight-forward goals. The video needed to reflect that season’s inspiration (the bright and colorful world of Palm Desert) and feature two important Alial Fital Ambassadors (PGA Tour veteran Bo Van Pelt, who helped him launch his brand to the golf apparel world, and PGA Tour pro Jim Renner). The solution: extreme close-ups, bold colors, rhythmic motion, and accents of motion graphics.
